In addition to enjoying beautiful accommodations at the Disney World hotels, there are additional advantages. Closeness to the parks is among one of them. For many of the hotels, the parks are merely a short monorail ride. All the Disney World hotels offer some kind of complimentary transport to all of the parks, either through a shuttle bus or even a short boat ride. In addition, you will be able to walk to some of the parks from your accommodations.
Another benefit that guests at Disney World hotels enjoy is you gain early entrance to a different park on different days and at other times up to three hours after closing times. This is called extra park hours (EPH). By entering the parks an hour before or staying after close without the general public, this lets you ride the more popular attractions without having to wait in long lines and fighting the crowds.
Be advised these hotels fill up fast, particularly during high season such as during any major holiday, the summer months of June, July, and August, and also during Spring Break and Easter.
